Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized care for patients during labor and delivery, ensuring high-quality and safe clinical practices. The nurse will coordinate patient care activities on the assigned unit, following organizational standards and promoting positive patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) license or current Compact state license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, NRP certification, recent graduation from an accredited nursing program, knowledge appropriate to the obstetric patient population, and at least 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Relevant experience in labor and delivery, additional nursing certifications, higher clinical ladder level consideration based on experience, certifications, or further education such as B.S.N. or MSN.
• Additional Information: The Registered Nurse will perform patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, execute timely interventions, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning. The role requires strong communication skills and sensitivity to patients' rights, with a focus on safe and effective clinical practice.
