Location: Frisco, TX

Shift:
Monday-Friday, scheduled between the hours of 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
A set schedule will be assigned upon hire.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician 2 to assist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications in a fast-paced fulfillment environment. This role is responsible for processing prescriptions, resolving insurance claim issues, entering prescription data, and supporting pharmacists while ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the fulfillment process.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications.
• Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and coordinating member and physician outreach.
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the pharmacy processing system.
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
• Escalate prescription-related questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or processing guidance.
• Assist with inbound and outbound patient and physician calls.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow pharmacy compliance procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• Current Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration/Certification required.
• • Trainee licenses are accepted if there is at least one year remaining on the license and the candidate is willing to obtain full licensure within the first 60 days if converted to a permanent employee.
• Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, twist, and reach above shoulder level.
• Lift up to 45 pounds throughout the workday.
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a warehouse/fulfillment environment.

Additional Information

• 100% onsite position (remote work is not available).
• Candidates must be flexible to work any assigned schedule between 7:00 AM and 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
