Senior Director, Advanced Analytics Products

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director to lead commercial advanced analytics and AI strategy, serving as the business owner for analytics initiatives that drive commercial success. This role bridges commercial leadership and enterprise AI teams to identify high-value use cases, define requirements, and embed analytics capabilities into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize commercial advanced analytics and AI use-case roadmap in partnership with leadership and enterprise AI team
• Own advanced analytics roadmap for next-best-action and omni-channel strategy focused on customer engagement optimization
• Define business, data, and success requirements for commercial models and AI tools; partner on deployment and optimization
• Serve as intake point for commercial leadership requests, structure problem statements, and synthesize analytics results into business insights
• Develop requirements for commercial data products team enhancements enabling self-service analytics and natural-language querying

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (statistics, data science, computer science, engineering); MS or PhD preferred
• 15+ years pharmaceutical or biotech commercial advanced analytics experience with demonstrated value across sales, patient services, market access, marketing
• Fluency with specialty pharmacy, claims data, CRM/Veeva, call activity, and consent data platforms
• Experience partnering with technical teams to deploy machine learning and AI tools in production workflows with MLOps knowledge
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL with cloud data and machine learning platform experience
• Demonstrated experience building, leading, and developing analytics or data science teams
• Deep fluency in commercial operating models, field and home-office orchestration, market access optimization
