We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support accurate and timely information processing for a Contract position based in Jamaica, New York. This role is ideal for someone who works carefully with high-volume data, maintains strong focus on accuracy, and is comfortable using computer systems throughout the day. The successful candidate will help keep records current, organized, and reliable while contributing to smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:
• Enter numeric and text-based information into computer systems with a high level of speed and accuracy.
• Review source documents for completeness and verify details before updating records.
• Maintain organized digital files and ensure data is recorded in the correct formats and fields.
• Perform routine checks to identify missing, duplicate, or inconsistent information and correct errors promptly.
• Update existing records and process new entries to keep databases current.
• Support administrative workflows by retrieving entered information and preparing data for internal use.
• Follow established procedures for handling confidential information and protecting data integrity.• Previous experience in data entry or a similar administrative support role.
• Strong typing skills with the ability to enter information accurately and efficiently.
• Comfort working with numeric data and computer-based entry systems.
• High attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in records.
• Basic proficiency with standard office software and database tools.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
• Strong organizational skills and dependable time management.
