Job Description
NMT/PET Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 08:00 to 16:30 with variable start times between 07:00 and 09:00. Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled NMT/PET Technician with experience in NMT and a strong preference for PET. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting imaging procedures and supporting patient care within an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform NMT/PET imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Document procedures and patient information using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in call rotation as required, with flexibility based on experience level.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a NMT/PET technician.
• 6 months of PET experience preferred.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification with a valid California license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Siemens equipment and EPIC is highly preferred.
