Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic team at our Toledo, OH facility. We are a metal processing facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. If you have a passion for leadership and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet operational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production staff to achieve high performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and streamline processes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production reports and documentation.
- Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing support to existing staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
