This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact in a charter school setting, supporting students' educational and emotional growth over the full academic year. With a manageable schedule of 24 hours per week, you'll have the flexibility to balance your career alongside other commitments.
You'll collaborate closely with educators, parents, and fellow professionals to ensure each student's individual needs are addressed. Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within a school environment, preferably K-12
- Strong understanding of academic, emotional, and behavioral assessments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interpret assessment results and develop actionable recommendations
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a charter school setting
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families on student intervention strategies
- Supporting students with counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Developing and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with special education staff
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulations
- Assisting in the design of programs that promote positive academic and emotional growth
