Job Title

Travel RN – Oncology (Night Shift)

Asheville, North Carolina

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 26-Week Assignment | Projected Start: June 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Oncology/Women's Surgical unit with a 1:4 or 1:5 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including occasional pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, CNAs, and HUCs across a 24-bed unit
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to other med-surg units on an as-needed basis (infrequent)
• Work required weekend shifts per scheduling guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency with standard unit equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy (Chemo) Certification
• Previous oncology or women's surgical nursing experience
• Experience with Cerner EMR
