Environmental, Health and Safety Manager

Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager – JLL The EHS Manager will develop and implement programs to deliver high‑performance Environmental, Health and Safety solutions for the client account. The role provides guidance and support to site management, program owners and personnel across multiple facilities, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and drives critical performance indicator objectives. The manager will support urgent operational or incident‑related matters outside standard business hours as needed and be responsible for site visits across the assigned territory. Day To Day Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs and initiatives that comply with regulatory requirements and promote employee participation and accountability at multiple locations. Identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury or property damage using safety standards, best management practices and analytical techniques. Communicate clearly with client partners and JLL leadership. Develop and conduct training in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, and document it properly. Provide oversight and alignment for training and presentations on specific topics applicable to the account employees. Capture EHS accidents, injuries, near misses and other events in corporate systems, analyze the data, and report on findings. Collect data and provide information and reports to support the client’s compliance programs. Conduct and lead EHS audits across sites within the assigned region. Participate in incident investigation, root‑cause analysis, recordkeeping and follow‑up, and recommend preventive actions. Monitor recordkeeping and reporting performance for risk‑related requirements and objectives. Ensure that site and business specific programs are implemented, documented and standardised to meet CPI/KPI and legal requirements. Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience in EHS compliance and management systems within facility operations, ideally in distribution, warehousing or maintenance. 2+ years of experience in risk or a related field as it relates to facility management. Knowledge of regulatory requirements that apply to facility management (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOT, etc.). Strong collaboration skills across all levels and organisations. Ability to achieve results through others without direct reports. Proficient with MS Office and common office software. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of safety requirements, fundamentals of safety education, industrial safety, risk management, and data automation for safety. Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHMM, OHST or comparable credentials. Location Shrewbury, MA or Wilmington, MA – on‑site. Salary Estimated compensation: $128,700.00 – $143,000.00 USD per year.
