Audit Manager - Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk - Vice President

We are on the lookout for a talented Vice President to join our Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) Audit Team. This is your opportunity to play a crucial role in enhancing our organization's governance and operational excellence!As an Audit Manager, Vice President within the CCOR Audit team, you will plan and lead audit engagements, oversee and perform audit testing, document audit reports, partner closely with global Audit colleagues and business stakeholders, and use judgment to strengthen internal controls. We are looking for a fast-learner who can work independently and collaborate well with team members. The role is highly visible and also offers you exposure to senior executives outside of Internal Audit across the bank.Job Responsibilities:Lead a variety of audit activities (e.g., audits, change activities, regulatory issue validations, risk assessments), including planning, testing, risk and control evaluation, issue dimensioning and report drafting while ensuring audit activities are completed timely and within budget.Proactively collaborate with other teams within Internal Audit, including the Technology, Data Analytics, Regional and Line of Business Audit teams.Finalize audit findings and use risk-based judgment to provide an overall opinion on the control environment and communicate results to senior management.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory developments and emerging risks to drive robust ongoing audit coverage and provide thought leadership.Take ownership of self-development, including stretch assignments, to prepare for greater responsibilities and career growth, and engage in the various forms of Internal Audit and firmwide continued learning.Foster a business climate and culture that encourages integrity, respect, diversity, excellence and innovation.Maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders during the course of ongoing audit activities as well as via continuous monitoring efforts. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:7+ years of internal or external auditing experience, or relevant business experienceBachelor's degree (or relevant financial services experience) requiredAbility to lead projects and participate in assignments in a team environment, including coaching audit staff to deliver high quality workSolid understanding of internal control concepts, with the ability to evaluate and determine the adequacy of controls by considering business and technology risks in an integrated mannerExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management and establish credibilityStrong analytical skills particularly in regard to assessing the probability and impact of an internal control weaknessEnthusiastic, self-motivated, strong interest in learning, effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility/accountabilityFlexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask in a constantly changing environmentPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Professional certification (CPA or CIA), or degree in Finance or Accounting with willingness to pursue Professional certificationExperience operating as part of a global teamAnalyzes complex data with sophisticated techniques and robust controls, identifies high-impact automation/ML opportunities, translates technical capabilities and data into compelling business cases and insights that drive decisions, and trains and advises teams on data practices and automation strategy**To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
