Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a mobile veterinary practice based in Albany, New York, serving dogs and cats throughout the Capital Region. They are seeking an experienced Mobile Veterinarian to join the team on either a full-time or part-time basis, providing compassionate in-home euthanasia services. The practice is dedicated to honoring the human-animal bond by helping pets pass peacefully in familiar surroundings, alongside the people they love.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Mobile Veterinarian will provide peaceful and compassionate in-home euthanasia services throughout the Capital Region, supporting pets and their families through the end-of-life process. The role involves creating a gentle experience within each pet's home and helping families navigate cremation and memorial options with care and respect. Flexible scheduling is available for both full-time and part-time veterinarians. Full-time veterinarians are required to work one weekend day every other week, while part-time veterinarians are generally expected to work one to two weekend days per month. This position is for an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The mobile practice is based in Albany, New York, and provides in-home euthanasia services throughout the Capital Region. Its approach centers on allowing pets to remain in a familiar and safe environment while honoring the human-animal bond and providing compassionate support to families. In addition to euthanasia services, the practice assists families in navigating cremation and memorial options. Veterinarians are offered flexibility and autonomy, alongside paid training in the practice's compassionate approach.

Team
The practice has five DVMs and a great tenured support team. The environment is supportive and close-knit, with team members united by a compassionate approach to end-of-life veterinary care and the families they support.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
