Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM to 4:30 PMJob DescriptionThe Infusion RN is responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care in the Consulting/Infusion department. This role reflects professionalism and accountability while working independently and making informed care decisions based on patient needs.ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate and comprehensive assessments of patients.Coordinate interdisciplinary screenings and assessments, making necessary adjustments based on patient response.Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, follow-up instructions, and necessary resources.Prepare and administer medications in accordance with clinical conditions and nursing standards.Manage and administer antineoplastic agents following established safety protocols.Explain procedures to patients and families, and assist practitioners as needed.Document patient medical history and care interventions thoroughly and accurately.Ensure a safe and secure environment by following established safety procedures and communication protocols.Participate in performance improvement initiatives within the department.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent RN License in IllinoisBLS and ACLS certifications requiredONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification through the Oncology Nurse Society requiredMinimum of 2 years of Registered Nursing experience preferredChemotherapy experience preferredStrong computer skills, particularly with EMR programsWhy ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
