Registered Nurse

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract on a Medical-Surgical unit. This role involves providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on surgical and post-operative care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care according to physician and care plan directives.
• Monitor patient progress, document findings, and update electronic medical records accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Manage common procedures such as IV placements, Foley management, and NG tube care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and unit guidelines.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of acute care experience.
• Proven experience in Medical-Surgical units, including post-surgical care.
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR and relevant clinical skills (e.g., IV, Foley, NG tubes).
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Strong time management, teamwork, and communication skills.
• BLS certification required.
