Schedule: Full Time - Salaried Exempt - Weekdays Only Location This is an in-person position located at Fauquier Hospital. More about our team Fauquier Health is a 97-bed acute care hospital offering surgical services (including robotics), a 24-hour Emergency Department, extensive medical imaging capabilities, an Intensive Care Unit and much, much more. The Fauquier Health system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine, a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and robotic-assisted surgery. The fourth floor of the hospital is devoted to our Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery. How you'll contribute A Quality Director who excels in this role: Is responsible for oversight of all quality and process improvement initiatives to include monitoring quality metrics at unit level. Oversees regulatory readiness through assessment and implementation of quality measures to meet regulatory requirements. Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives. Evaluates and identifies opportunities for process improvement in patient care to provide superior quality outcomes. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols. What we're looking for - position specific Applicants should have a current Virginia state or compact state RN license (for compact licensure, Virginia licensure must be obtained within 60 days of hire). Basic Life Support certification is required within 7 days of hire. Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or Healthcare Administration is required. Must have at least 5 years experience in Acute Care setting. At least 1 year of leadership experience, and at least 1 year of project management/quality improvement experience.
