We are looking for a versatile Sales & Marketing Specialist to join our team and help us connect with the communities that need our solutions most. The Role We are seeking a creative, data-driven, and relationship-focused Sales & Marketing Specialist to expand our market presence within the education and government sectors (SLED). Reporting directly to the CEO, you will wear two hats: designing the marketing campaigns that generate awareness and managing the sales relationships that convert those leads into long-term partners. This is a modern, tech-forward role. You will leverage cutting-edge AI tools to draft content, analyze market data, and automate routine outreach. We believe AI should handle the administrative and execution heavy lifting so you can focus on creative strategy and building genuine human relationships. Key Responsibilities Campaign & Content Strategy (Marketing): Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns aimed at school districts and local governments. Utilize AI tools to assist in creating compelling content, including email newsletters, case studies, social media posts, and localized marketing collateral. Lead Generation & Prospecting (Blended): Own the top of the funnel. Combine traditional prospecting with modern digital marketing strategies to identify and engage key decision-makers (IT directors, school administrators, government officials). Consultative Sales Execution (Sales): Guide prospects through the sales cycle from initial interest to close. Practice deep empathy to understand the human challenges behind their technical needs, acting as a trusted consultant to offer tailored IT solutions. AI-Forward Workflow Optimization: Actively integrate AI into your daily workflow—using it for rapid market research, audience segmentation, copywriting, and sales messaging optimization to maximize your impact. Data & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of marketing campaigns and sales interactions within our CRM. Track key metrics to measure what’s working and continuously refine our growth strategy. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in a blended sales/marketing role, business development, or growth marketing position. Industry Knowledge: Experience in the tech space (IT services, SaaS, or technology solutions) is highly preferred. Familiarity with the SLED (State, Local, and Education) market or public procurement is a major plus. Values-Driven: Demonstrates deep integrity and a strong commitment to making the right choices. You do the right thing for the customer and the team, even when no one is looking. The Ultimate Hybrid Skillset: You possess the creative spark needed to write a great email campaign and the interpersonal skills needed to hop on a call and close a deal. Tech-Savvy & AI-Forward: Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, CRM systems, and marketing tools (like HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Canva). You have an AI-inclusive mindset—comfortably using generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Claude) to accelerate content creation and streamline your sales workflow. Why Join Us?
