Lead Security Officer, Baptist St. Augustine FSED

Baptist Health is looking to add a Lead Security Officer to our Protective Services Department at our Baptist St. Augustine FSED location. This is a full-time opportunity working 12-hour shifts, 6:00am-6:00pm. The Lead Security Officer's primary function is to assure the day-to-day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties. As patient safety and experience are top priority this growing team is currently implementing new technologies such as metal detectors. Responsibilities Providing all the services of a Safety and Security Officer. Receiving special training in investigations, security equipment, administration, safety, haz mat, and training. Handling materials management ordering for the location and being trained to have access to the supply chain software. Lead Security Officer Experience 3-5 Years Law Enforcement Experience 3-5 Years Security Officer Experience 3-5 Years Military Experience 1-2 years Healthcare Experience Education & Credential Requirements High School Diploma or GED (required) Associate of Arts or Science (preferred) International Assn for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Supervisor Certification (preferred) International Assn for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Advanced Certification (preferred) License and Certification Driver's License - DMV This Lead Security Officer will be located at Baptist St. Augustine FSED.
