Shift


: Days / Start 6:30a-7:30a, 8x5, 40hrs per week

Length


: 26 weeks

No Major Holidays/Every 6th/7th weekend

Requirements:

• 
  
  
  Minimum of 2 years Cardiac in a large hospital setting
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  BLS
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  RDCS and ARDMS
  
  
  
  

Other Details:

• 
  
  
  Floating Requirements: One Outreach Location per week on average (Stillwater or Westfields)
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Knowledge of electrocardiography and arrhythmias and conduction disturbances.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Knowledge of sterile technique.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Knowledge of mathematical principals including algebra.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Knowledge of how to use defibrillator and crash cart.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Ability to effectively perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Ability to work effectively with critically ill/injured adult patients.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Ability to gain optimal cooperation from adult patients.
  
  
  
  



• 
  
  
  Ability to recognize and properly deal with medical emergencies.

  Ability to recognize and report equipment problems and malfunctions.
