Dental Hygienist

Position Overview Metro Dentalcare, Albertville, MN, is offering a full‑time Dental Hygienist position (4 days/week). Sign‑on bonus: $10,000. Key Responsibilities Provide patient hygiene care, screenings, and health education. Support the patient care team by delivering time‑and‑care patients need, deserve, and desire. Participate in a robust Hygiene mentor program and educational offerings to enhance clinical skills. Assist in the use of digital scanners, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Required Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in MN. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (required by the state). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical‑history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience New graduate or minimal clinical experience. Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patients’ needs and provide preventive care. Clinical support as required by the office. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
