Healthcare Litigation Associate - California (Remote)Must Be Licensed in CaliforniaA nationally recognized healthcare law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing California practice. This is a fully remote(able to work in office as desired) opportunity offering sophisticated litigation work, direct client interaction, meaningful responsibility, and long-term career development within one of the most complex and rapidly evolving sectors of the economy.The practice represents hospitals, health systems, physician groups, medical practices, post-acute care providers, clinical laboratories, pharmacies, and emerging healthcare companies in complex litigation, regulatory disputes, investigations, and other high-stakes matters. Prior healthcare litigation experience is not required. Attorneys with strong litigation backgrounds and an interest in healthcare law are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:Handle litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycleDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other substantive filingsConduct legal research and prepare persuasive written work productTake and defend depositions and participate in witness preparationAssist with hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparationAdvise clients on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and dispute resolutionCollaborate with attorneys across litigation, regulatory, investigations, compliance, and transactional practicesManage deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentQualifications:JD from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership2+ years of litigation experienceStrong motion practice, discovery, deposition, and legal writing skillsExcellent analytical, research, and oral advocacy abilitiesAbility to independently manage matters while working collaboratively within a team environmentExperience with complex commercial litigation, healthcare litigation, regulatory litigation, investigations, employment litigation, insurance coverage, or other sophisticated litigation matters is a plusInterest in healthcare law, regulatory issues, and highly regulated industries strongly preferredBenefitsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive base salary ranging from $195,000 to $360,000, depending on experience and qualificationsDiscretionary bonus opportunityComprehensive health and wellness benefits package401(k) retirement planGenerous paid time off and firm holidaysFully remote work environment with long-term flexibilityMeaningful mentorship and direct access to highly experienced attorneysLong-term advancement opportunities within a nationally recognized specialty practiceThis opportunity offers sophisticated litigation work, significant client interaction, substantial responsibility, and the ability to develop highly specialized expertise while working alongside some of the leading attorneys in the healthcare industry.
