IT Specialist (Ruby on Rails)

Salary: $116,736 - 164,746 per year Requirements:

• We need at least one year of specialized experience that is equivalent to the next lower grade level in a related line of progression.
• We are looking for experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining full-stack Ruby on Rails web applications.
• We need hands-on experience with RESTful architecture, MVC patterns, and Ruby on Rails across platform services.
• We require experience building and consuming RESTful and SOAP/XML APIs, including integrations with federal or state systems.
• We value strong skills in Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development, with practical use of RSpec and Cucumber.
• We need proficiency with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, and related UI libraries.
• We require a working knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
• We are seeking experience with the dry-rb ecosystem, including dry-validation, dry-monads, dry-struct, and dry-types.
• We need experience modeling data in MongoDB, including embedded documents, validations, indexes, and configuration.
• We expect familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions or similar tools, Git workflows, and pull request-based collaboration.
• We value experience working with DevOps teams on deployment automation, infrastructure as code, and runbooks.
• We are looking for experience using Jira, participating in agile ceremonies, and contributing to technical documentation.

• We design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain our mission-critical health insurance marketplace platform.
