Revenue Cycle Quality & Training Analyst

Position Title Revenue Cycle Quality & Training Analyst – Days, Full Time – Southlake Campus Position Summary The Revenue Cycle Quality and Training Analyst is responsible for educating end users based on adult learning principles to improve workflow and efficiency. The role observes users interacting with the electronic medical record (EMR) to identify additional training needs or system improvement opportunities, promotes system use for operational workflows, and works closely with information systems and end users to troubleshoot and support revenue cycle software implementation. Key Responsibilities Identify and document workflow and EMR process improvement opportunities through analysis of quality, productivity, and compliance reporting. Perform productivity and quality analysis to identify individual and department training opportunities. Participate in EMR application activities that may impact training, including updates of training environments. Provide ongoing education and communication through established pathways, including support for new EMR functionality, optimizations and upgrades. Follow a pre-determined training plan and coordinate updates to meet ongoing needs of revenue cycle teams. Teach workshops or training modules as needed and conduct training for new hires and existing staff. Assist with follow-up competencies when assigned. Learn new LPO (Lean Promotion Office) product offerings and infrastructure, including Lean best practices and promotion of Lean thinking. Participate in ongoing development of the Lean Management system and provide documentation support for events. Monitor and respond to health system revenue cycle support email, follow up on outstanding issues, and bring new issues to status meetings. Required Education & Experience High school graduate with an associate’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university, OR At least 4 years of experience in a related field, including 3 years in process improvement, quality and productivity analysis, compliance reporting, training, patient accounting, or patient registration/service rep. Preferred Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university. Lead or supervisory experience. Required Licensure & Certification EPIC credentialing completed within 6 months of hire (within 180 days). Knowledge & Other Requirements Ability to travel between health system locations with minimal to no notice.
