Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Drafter for a woodworking/manufacturing company in Minnesota. In this role, you’ll create accurate and detailed drawings that support the production of customized cabinetry based on customer specifications. What You’ll Do as a Drafter:

• Create accurate working drawings for customized cabinetry using AutoCAD
• Translate specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions into detailed drawings
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across standard and specialized catalog items
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve drawing-related issues
• Communicate with dealers by phone and email to clarify order details
• Assist with creating, revising, and maintaining specification catalogs
• Meet schedules and deadlines to ensure timely completion of drawings

What You Need to Bring to the Drafter Role:

• Associate degree (two-year) in Drafting or a related field
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and basic computer programs (Word, spreadsheets, email)
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical specifications and drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn company products and systems (on-the-job training provided)
