Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher Certification (grades 7-12 required)

• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and reporting
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with current special education laws, best practices, and classroom technology

Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver instructional material to meet students’ individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Track student progress, update IEPs, and communicate results with parents and other team members
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators
• Maintain accurate records, attend meetings, and participate in professional development as required
