As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will use X-ray screening and access control procedures to help support a secure environment. You will interact professionally with visitors and employees, operate computer or tablet systems, and communicate clearly while delivering outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.44 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific access control procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate entry points. Monitor entry and exit activity, maintain accurate visitor and screening records, and report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and policy violations to site leadership. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, access points, the business, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
