Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. producer of Yellawood® brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking 2nd and 3rd SHIFT FORKLIFT OPERATORS for the location in Conyers, GA. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package. Summary Drives an industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area. Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device. Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed. Keeps record of inventory. Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred. Must have at least 3 years previous forklift experience.
