HOURS: 10:00pm - 6:00am

WAGE: $22.75 per hour

JOB SUMMARY: Disassemble, clean and assemble all plant food processing equipment by using high- and low-pressure hot water, corrosive chemicals and other cleaning equipment.


JOB DUTIES:

• Disassemble food-processing equipment, as necessary.

• Clean equipment and overhead areas, using a variety of equipment, including high-pressure hot water hoses, chemicals, foamers, sanitizers scrubbing equipment, etc.

• Reassemble equipment and prepare for next day food production.

• Frequently bend, lift, climb and twist throughout the work shift.
• Must be comfortable using ladders and comfortable with heights.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise exposure, temperature variations from warm to cool to extremely cold. Lifting is required, slippery floors, working at heights, corrosive chemicals, heavy/slippery equipment, sharp objects and wet environment. Must wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.


QUALIFICATIONS: Very mobile individual, able to stand, walk, climb bend, kneel for up to 8 hours per day. Able to frequently bend, lift and twist. Should be self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. Must meet Sanitation Physical Abilities Evaluation Requirements. Must successfully complete all required training including pallet jack and scissors lift.


Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
