Location: South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend required with flexibility based on unit needs

Highlights:

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with life-threatening multisystem and cardiac conditions including sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease
• Perform advanced cardiac procedures including vasoactive drug administration, antiarrhythmic therapy, thrombolytic therapy, defibrillation/cardioversion, and thoracentesis
• Patient ratio of 1:5 during day shift with volume-managed call coverage
• 20-bed telemetry unit with average daily census of 14 patients and comprehensive interdisciplinary support
• EPIC electronic medical record system with 24 hours of orientation provided
• Pre-assignment modules billable for up to 16 hours

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry or progressive care experience (1 year may be considered based on qualifications)
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Willingness to float to similar units or facilities based on census needs
