This is your chance to own the process, from concept to flight, optimizing for medium-scale mass production. We are looking for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take our satellite designs to the next level.This is a full-time, hybrid role which will require you to work from our San Francisco office 3 days per week. Impact You'll Own: Electrical design of analog, power, thermal and mixed signal subsystems from requirements through architecture and detailed designSchematic capture, power/signal integrity simulations; guide and review layout designHarness design including selection of components, signal definition, coordinating with mechanical engineering to define lengths, and generating fabrication drawingsOversight of design validation and qualification campaigns including power / signal integrity, EMI / EMC, interoperability, etc...Analog and mixed signal design including interfaces to thermal systems, sensors and actuatorsSupport for manufacturing and systems teams around electrical subsystem integrationWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field4+ years of experience in taking designs from schematics to manufacturingExperience with power, analog, and mixed signal PCB designExperience with Altium tools for PCB designExperience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimetersExcellent solder rework skillsExperience with embedded systems and peripheral interfaces (e.g, I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, Ethernet, etc)Ability to make decisions regarding design and implementationWhat Makes You Stand Out: Knowledge of High Speed Design and DC-DC converters.Knowledge of scripting languages such as PythonApplication Deadline:11:45pm PT on the date stated below.
