Security Officer

This position operates under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager. It is responsible for protecting and securing assets, personnel, customers, and visitors at assigned sites.

Job Shift: 2nd shift, 3rd shift, weekends, and on-call. A vehicle is required, as some locations are not accessible by public transportation. Candidates must have at least 1 year of security experience.

Job Duties:

• Safeguard the interests of the client within the facility and protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.
• Observe and report signs of crime or disorder, and investigate disturbances.
• Prepare daily reports as required and submit them to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct patrols as specified by post orders.
• Monitor and control access to the property as outlined in post orders.
• Notify the appropriate authorities in all emergency situations, as detailed in the post orders.
• Report all violations of company policy, as well as local and federal laws, as stated in the Employee Handbook.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Stand for long hours.
• Be willing to work extended hours.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required by the client or the specific post.
