Location Plainsboro, NJ Sign‑on Bonus Up to $10,000 Hours 40 hours per week, 5 days of 8‑hour shifts: 11 pm to 7:30 am, with every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed. Summary Assist the Department Section Supervisor in providing laboratory services to meet the needs of patients as ordered by the Medical Staff and performed in accordance with accepted standards and practices; direct, supervise, and coordinate functions and activities in assigned divisions of the clinical laboratories as needed. Responsibilities Assist the Laboratory Section Supervisor with tasks relating to division operations, including CAP testing, NACCL procedures, and writing. Review and monitor test findings obtained by laboratory personnel, checking validity and accuracy of results in conjunction with CAP and HGFA requirements. Perform quality control and take appropriate action to ensure variation in test results and standards remain within acceptable quality control ranges. Assist staff technologists and technicians in performing difficult or unusual studies and procedures, acting as a resource to laboratory and medical staff. Assist the Section Supervisor in supervising assigned staff members. Credentials American Society for Clinical Pathology certification (required) MLT or C‑MLS (required) MT (ASCP or NCA), MLS(ASCP), or previously qualified as Medical Technologist prior to 2/28/92 under 42CFR493.1427 (3/14/90) Education or Equivalent Experience Bachelor of Arts or Science (required) Education specialization: chemical, biological or laboratory science/medical technology science 5+ years minimum recent experience in a laboratory setting Compensation and Benefits We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits program that includes a prepaid tuition assistance program and other employee benefits to support health and wellness.
