Pharmacist - Inpatient (Per Diem)

Shift Schedule

• Rotating shifts
• Weekends & Holidays: Rotation
• FTE: Per Diem

Education and Training Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree.
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Practice/Community and PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency training programs.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the State of Wisconsin.
• Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP).
• BLS Certification required.

Experience

• One (1) year of clinical patient care and orders management experience or completion of an ASHP-accredited Residency training program.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Pharmaceutical knowledge and skills to provide care to adult and adolescent age groups in general and to a specific patient population.
• Knowledge and skills related to computerized pharmacy systems, special prescription delivery systems, third party payor and fiscal reimbursement knowledge related to ambulatory care practices.
• Ability to learn computer and application skills as applicable to role.
• Ability to interact with and work around people.
• Ability to make judgments in demanding situations.
• Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work.
• Effective communiation skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to listen empathetically.
• Ability to logically organize details.
