  • Establish and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with patients through effective communication and empathy.

  • Conduct regular therapy sessions, offering counseling services and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.

  • Continuously assess patient progress and adapt therapeutic interventions to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will consist mainly of individuals battling substance abuse issues and those coping with co-occurring mental health conditions. You will be instrumental in helping families and couples navigate emotional and relational challenges, providing them with tools to foster healthier interactions and recovery strategies. Your role will significantly contribute to improving overall patient outcomes and enhancing the emotional well-being of those you serve.

Qualifications\n

  • A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly with diverse family dynamics.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using telehealth platforms, ensuring smooth remote therapy sessions and clinical documentation.
  • \n
  • Strong practical knowledge in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or similar evidence-based methodologies.

  • Exceptional communication skills combined with an empathetic approach to patient care.

  • Ability to work independently while engaging in collaborative processes with multidisciplinary teams.

  • An established private workspace to ensure confidentiality and professionalism during client interactions.
