We are looking for a Tax Supervisor to join our Tax Department in our New York office. As a Tax Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Prepares and reviews tax returns, extensions, and projections for various clients (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual, Trust)
• Knowledge of Federal and State tax law
• Perform tax research to resolve issues
• Maintain frequent contact with client and handle day-to-day client relationship issues
• Build relationships with clients and staff

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation preferred
• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firm
• CPA or (in progress) preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have excellent client service skills
• Highly motivated
• Responsive to clients
• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills
• Knowledge of CCH Axcess and Go File Room is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

For positions in New York City, the salary range is $120,000 -- $ 135,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
