Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is located in Lafayette, Colorado. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state nursing standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, providing health education and counseling, as well as executing delegated medical procedures to support patient well-being.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with evenings and nights.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license for the state of practice, at least 1 year of nursing experience, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous ICU nursing experience, bachelors degree in nursing, certifications relevant to critical care.
• Float: Float rotation may be required based on the organizations needs.
• Additional Information: The role involves clinical documentation, resource utilization, treatment plan monitoring, patient referral, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, and execution of medical functions. Candidates should be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily and adapt to operational requirements such as float and on-call duties.
