Assistant Manager Take your first step to landing a management position! Our Assistant Manager position is someone in training to become a store General Manager. The Assistant Manager will work through the four levels of our Management in Training program and earn a pay raise at each level completed. Key Responsibilities Manage day‑to‑day operations of a restaurant, ensuring guest satisfaction. Develop, direct, and supervise hourly team members to attain sales and profit objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality food, beverage, service, cleanliness, organization, and sanitation. Build store sales and control restaurant costs. Pass a management‑level food safety and sanitation exam before promotion into this position. Work varied hours/days to oversee store operations at least 50 hours per week (availability and willingness to work all shifts any day at any time). Required Qualifications Live with integrity – say what you mean, do what you say, especially when nobody’s watching. Have fun and enjoy work. Project a positive image and energy, smile in person and on the phone. Be noticeably friendly and give each customer personal attention. Be passionate and ready to make things happen. Pay attention to details – anticipate customer needs and react when noticing any dissatisfaction. Communicate honestly and tactfully. Be self‑disciplined with strong desire to succeed, needing little direction before taking the reins. Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is very helpful. Benefits Flexible scheduling. Perform repetitive tasks and full range of motion – bending, turning, twisting, reaching. Carry, push and pull objects related to food preparation and serving. Stand and move well‑paced for duration of shift. Work Environment High noise levels due to operations, customers, and overhead music. Work near moving or mechanical parts.
