Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Projected Start: 05/27/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with behavioral health needs in an emergency department setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatment throughout the shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients experiencing behavioral health crises
• Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and regulatory standards related to emergency and behavioral health care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience working with behavioral health patients in an acute or emergency care environment
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS may be required
• Ability to meet facility credentialing and compliance requirements for travel staff

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or behavioral health department
• Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and behavioral health crisis intervention
• Experience in a high-volume emergency department environment
