Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting to the Behavioral Health Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatment in a fast-paced ED environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to facility protocols for behavioral health holds and emergency interventions
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members throughout the care continuum

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing
• Experience working with behavioral health patient populations
• Current BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or behavioral health setting
• Familiarity with psychiatric emergency protocols and behavioral health holds
• Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills
