Right at Home is growing our in-home care team — and we're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities across the greater Indianapolis area, including Hamilton County.

Job types: full-time, part-time, temporary

Shifts available (pick what works for you): days, evenings, overnights, weekends

Caregiver qualifications:

• Verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment
• Dependability
• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job.
• Communicate effectively with office staff on a weekly basis
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff

What you'll do:

You'll help clients stay safe and comfortable at home based on an established plan of care. ADLs (care + support) may include:

• Hygiene support (toileting/bedpan assistance, bathing, oral care, skin/hair care)
• Mobility/ambulation support
• Dressing and grooming
• Feeding assistance
• Engagement/companionship (conversation, puzzles, card games)
• Meal prep per instructions
• Light homemaking may include:
• Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping
• Dishes
• Changing bed linens
• Laundry
• Bathroom cleaning

What we're looking for:

Strong communication + listening skills · Dependable, professional, and safety-minded · Valid driver's license and insured vehicle, or reliable transportation · Able to communicate with office staff weekly · Willing to follow company policies and direction · Able to pass a background check and drug test

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
