Carrier Planner - Intermodal

Job Responsibilities: Administer the assignment of rail container plans to 3rd party and Werner asset carriers. Prioritize equipment plans based on equipment utilization, dwell time, cost, and capacity. Work with carriers to ensure equipment plans are executed as planned and communicate the impact of any failures. Advise the Operations Supervisor of issues or needs as necessary and perform other duties assigned by supervisory personnel. Collaborate with railroad contacts on equipment‑related issues, open cases, or escalating EQ issues to meet customer expectations. Achieve performance goals related to street turn utilization, overall dwell time, and cost.
