We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team on a Full-Time basis.

Position Overview: Dental Assistant

As a Dental Assistant at Ezra Medical Center, you will play a key role in supporting our dentists and ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for our patients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and committed to maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Preparation: Escort patients to treatment rooms, review medical history, and ensure all necessary documents are ready.
• Sterilization & Setup: Sanitize treatment rooms, dispose of used supplies, and prepare instruments and equipment for the next patient.
• Radiographic Support: Take and develop diagnostic and panoramic x-rays as needed.
• Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during procedures, including instrument handling, suctioning, irrigating, and taking teeth impressions.
• Post-Treatment Support: Provide patient instructions and assistance upon dismissal, ensuring a positive experience.
• Clinic Maintenance: Clean and reset treatment areas, ensuring all supplies and instruments are restocked and ready for the next patient.
• Inventory Management: Maintain an adequate supply of dental materials in each room.
• Rotational Duties: Perform suctioning on a rotational basis as assigned.
• Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as directed by the Dental Director.

Qualifications

• Certification or associate degree from an accredited dental assisting program (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and a commitment to patient care.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts
• Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
• Work Location: In-person in Brooklyn, NY 11218 (Relocation required before the start date)
