Lead Produce Department Clerk

Overview The Produce Department Lead is responsible for assisting and ensuring exceptional operational standards are being adhered to in the Produce Department, Chop Shoppe and/or Juicery areas. They will ensure each area is fully stocked with fresh product and appeals to guests. The Produce Department Lead is responsible for stocking the shelves and building displays, preparing all fresh-cut fruits, vegetables, and freshly made juices for our guests, and culling (rotating and pulling product of less than high quality) in the produce department. Additionally this position tracks shrink, verifies production logs, scheduling, orders product, and ensures food safety standards are exceeded at all times. The Produce Department Lead is responsible for ensuring continuous delivery of exceptional guest service, ensuring superior quality and freshness of all products, actively engaging guests through freshly prepared product samples and suggestive selling, attracting guests by creating a fun and friendly atmosphere, and understanding all health, safety and sanitation regulations. Job Summary The Produce Department Lead will lead the production of fresh fruit, vegetables, and juices in the Produce Department. This person is responsible for food preparation, display maintenance, and inventory management and/or product redistribution and pull. Production also involves ensuring compliance with company standards, health and safety regulations and maintaining a resilient key-sap for all production.
