Laser Operator I - 2nd Shift

2nd Shift Laser Operator Pay & Skill Levels:Our Laser Operator position is structured in three skill-based tiers, with starting pay determined by your qualifications and experience. Laser Operators have the opportunity to advance to the next tier by developing the required skills, demonstrating proficiency, and meeting the qualifications outlined for that level. This opportunity is available on second shift: 2pm-12:30am, M-Th.Laser Operator I - $34.81Ability to operate laser for sheet metal fabricationAbility to use nesting software per machineAbility to set up and run one laser proficientlyCan perform centering, lens cleaning, focus test without supervisionLoad material safely without supervisionUtilize technology for processing jobs and communication (Clocking, Inventory, Job Completion)Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge baseMandatory overtime when business conditions require itAdherence to the attendance policyAll other duties as requiredLaser Operator II - $37.95All duties required by Laser Operator ICan run both the table laser and tube laser proficientlyCan diagnose and repair small issues without supervisionAbility to nest with both lasers and is proficient in training and helping setup and coordinating work in the work cellLaser Operator III - $41.37All duties required by Laser Operator IIResponsible for the Reliability Centered Maintenance of the lasersDirects contractor maintenance for major repairsPrograms sheets using Radan softwareResponsible for Quality Management System for the lasersOperates laser to its full capabilities and optimizes for improvementsBuild training program and documents for Amada laserResponsible for training Laser OperatorsManages inventory supply of laserAre you qualified?Experience in a similar role is requiredAbility to follow detailed instructions and work well with others.Excellent organizational skills for maintaining inventory levels and stock management.Problem-solving skills for resolving shipping discrepancies and customer issues.Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check as a prerequisite of employment.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (75-100+ lbs.) and perform various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, twisting, and standing regularly.
