Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Substance Use Location: New York, NY (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract - Monday-Friday Compensation Pay Range: $56.00-$58.00/hour Job Summary We’re seeking a compassionate RN to join our team in a residential setting in New York City. What You Will Be Doing As the Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in coordinating healthcare services and supporting residents in their recovery and wellness journey. You will provide both direct nursing care and client education, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care. Deliver comprehensive nursing care and patient education in a sub-acute residential environment. Conduct client triage and support both medical and psychiatric appointments. Facilitate psychoeducational seminars and provide accurate medical information. Utilize technology systems to document care and communicate effectively. Train staff on medication access procedures and conduct quality assurance reviews. Ensure safe storage and disposal of all medications. Coordinate care between internal teams and external healthcare providers. Lead client orientations, administer screening tools, and manage appointment schedules. What You Will Need Active Registered Nurse license in New York State. Experience working in substance use disorder or behavioral health settings. Experience in sub-acute residential care preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends. Proficient with general computer systems and documentation tools. Strong communication and organizational skills.
