A boutique law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing legal team in Springfield, Massachusetts. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with experienced attorneys on a variety of commercial real estate and transactional matters. 

Position Overview

The Associate Attorney will focus primarily on commercial real estate transactions , representing clients through acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, development projects, and related business matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and related contracts
• Conduct due diligence reviews and title analysis
• Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, and other parties involved in transactions
• Provide practical legal advice to commercial clients
• Support the firm's broader business and real estate practice as needed

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain admission promptly)
• Experience with commercial real estate and transactional matters
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a team environment
