Position Summary

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Sales Support Intern to assist a Senior Account Executive with daily sales activities, order management, and client follow-up. This role will help ensure that customer requests, quotes, orders, deliveries, and open issues are tracked and handled promptly.

This is apart-time, paid internshipon site at our corporate headquarters inFort Lauderdale, FL.Work hours areM-F, 1p -4p,but can be flexible based on coursework schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Track customer orders from placement through delivery.

• Follow up with internal teams, vendors, and distribution partners for order status, estimated delivery dates, and tracking information.

• Provide customers with timely updates and respond to basic order-related questions.

• Maintain accurate records of quotes, purchase orders, invoices, shipments, and client communications.

• Verify that the correct purchase order and client information are used for every order.

• Assist with pricing requests, order summaries, and sales reports.

• Monitor open action items and follow up to ensure deadlines are met.

• Help coordinate vendor calls, and follow-up activities.

• Follow up customer and vendor onboarding by gathering and tracking required documentation.

• Assist with resolving shipment delays, damaged products, missing equipment, and other order issues.

• Update customer information, opportunities, and activity notes in the company’s sales systems.

• Conduct basic account and opportunity research.

• Support the Senior Account Executive with other sales and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in business, sales, marketing, communications, supply chain, or a related field.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Professional and customer-focused attitude.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up consistently.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.

• Willingness to learn sales processes, order management, and customer relationship systems.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
