Job Details Position: Travel ER Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Setting: Emergency Room / Acute Care Location: Hastings, Nebraska Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Schedule: Nights, every other weekend Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Charting System: EPIC Orientation: 3 shifts with an experienced nurse Start Date: 8/13/2026 Job Requirements Active RN license 3 or more years of Emergency Department or ER nursing experience preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and assessment skills Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC Prior travel nursing experience is preferred, but not required Comfort working in a fast-paced Emergency Room with variable patient volumes Ability to work nights and every other weekend Responsibilities Provide compassionate, efficient care to patients with a wide range of emergency conditions Assess, triage, and prioritize care for adult and pediatric emergency patients Manage patients with common ER diagnoses such as abdominal pain, falls, chest pain, and more Administer and monitor common drips including antibiotics, cardiac medications, Heparin, TPA, and insulin Collaborate closely with physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, respiratory therapy, lab, and support staff Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and communicate effectively with the care team Support safe patient flow, including cardiac monitoring and transport coordination as needed Deliver high-quality nursing care in a dynamic environment where teamwork is essential Apply now for this rewarding travel ER Registered Nurse opportunity in Hastings, Nebraska, and join a team dedicated to excellent emergency care.
