RPG Software DeveloperThe RPG Software Developer develops and maintains enterprise class web/batch applications as well as support existing applications on the IBMi platform.Requirements:Education: BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.Skills: Strong knowledge of ILE and Free Form RPG programming language. Knowledge of Web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and Ajax. Extremely detail oriented, proactive, motivated, results-driven self-starter that takes initiative and willing to take ownership of a project. Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively. Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary. Consistently Seeking and Learning New Technology. Strong problem-solving skills.Experience: 5 + years' experience in programming using RPG IV. 3 + years' experience using ILE and Free Form RPG. 2+ years' experience developing web applications for the IBM i using the CGIDEV2 service program. Experience using embedded SQL in RPG programs a plus. 1 + years' experience using RDI (Rational Developer for i) a plus. Experienced with advanced programming techniques including store procedures, service programs, database triggers, socket. Experience with Aldon (Rockets Software) change management a plus.
