Details\n \n CV Thoracic Transplant ICU in an acute care hospital setting \n Cares for both cardiac medical ICU patients and Cardiac/Thoracic/Vascular Surgery ICU patients \n 2:1 patient ratio \n Patients may be supported by devices including Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage \n Night shift: 19:00–07:30 \n 13-week contract \n Requirements\n \n Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license required \n Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (both must be AHA-issued) \n NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years) \n Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience required \n Experience with Impella, IABP, and LVAD required \n NxStage experience preferred \n Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address \n Two professional references required \n Copy of Driver's License required \n Full SSN and full date of birth required for consideration \n Additional Information\n \n Provides ICU-level nursing care to both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery patients \n Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start \n Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility \n COVID vaccination is not required \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-714411.
