Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units, requiring close monitoring and interventions. Key Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities. Administer medications and treatments, assist during cardiac procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Respond to emergencies, document patient assessments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care. Provide patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills One year of recent Stepdown RN experience. Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to move equipment and patients, and sensory acuity for patient monitoring.
