Acute Care Technician III – Float Pool – TriHealth Clinton Regional Hospital CMH Regional Health System’s Clinton Memorial Hospital (CMH) is a 165‑bed hospital located in Wilmington, Ohio. The location offers a peaceful rural setting with easy access to nearby cities. Location 610 W Main St, Wilmington, OH 45177. Additional benefits details available at Job Requirements High School Degree Healthcare experience Basic Life Support (BLS) Reading and math ability appropriate to the position Job Overview Provides assistance and/or performs basic activities of daily living and specified treatments and procedures under the direct supervision of the nurse. Also responsible for orientation of new PCAs, coordination of annual competency‑based education, and participation in unit committees and process improvement. Job Responsibilities Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under RN supervision. Maintains competency in tasks trained for ACT III and completes assigned tasks within required time. Reports safety hazards, completes safety event reports, and follows infection control policies. Communicates effectively with patients, families and co‑workers; reports issues in a timely manner. Performs supply, equipment, and environmental tasks and coordinates recurring ACT tasks with the team. Supports self‑growth and assists in growth of fellow ACTs through coordination of CBE activities and feedback. Participates in recruitment, retention, and scheduling activities, and acts as a change agent in process improvement. Working Conditions Typical duties include bending, climbing, kneeling, lifting (up to 50 lbs frequently), pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, sitting and walking. Requires coordination of hands, consistent concentration, continuous learning, and communication. Visual acuity and hearing are needed for patient assessment and communication. #J-18808-Ljbffr
