Mechanical Assembler

Overview Mechanical Assembler position located in Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role is responsible for installing electrical components and wiring for enclosure building manufacturing projects according to specifications. Typical Day / Responsibilities Review, analyze, and follow blueprints, diagrams, drawings, procedures, and work instructions to complete assemblies for enclosure buildings. Assemble and install electrical components including panel boards, HVAC units, battery systems, electrical devices, and bend conduit. Use power tools and hand tools (drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, grinders) to accomplish assigned tasks. Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm assemblies meet specifications and quality standards. Identify product defects; record and report accordingly. Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and parts at the workstation. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years of related assembly or manufacturing experience. Experience operating powered equipment (forklift, reach truck, scissors lift, overhead crane). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and safety management. Reading comprehension and ability to interpret blueprints, wiring drawings, schematics, and engineering diagrams. Basic math skills for measurements and technical specifications. Basic understanding of tools such as tape measure and impact drill. Demonstrated proficiency in safely operating powered equipment. Physical Requirements Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive tasks. Ability to lift, push, pull up to 35 pounds. Manual dexterity for assembly tasks. Excellent hand‑eye coordination. Ability to differentiate colored wires, tabs, and electronic components. Must wear PPE (gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection) while working on the production floor.
